Professional Profile

Throughout my career, I’ve had the great fortune to work on some truly inspiring projects, while meeting many influential and creative individuals along the way. I believe in working together to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.

I'm a hands-on creative with over 10 years of industry and freelance experience. I am currently fortunate enough to work remotely in the beautiful Yorkshire Countryside, whilst also enjoying a trip to the office to collaborate in person or to simply socialise with my team. My areas of expertise are in FMCG and ecommerce roles, designing for email, website, social, print, packaging and more. I have many years of experience in integrated campaigns. I also dabble in animation, this is something I’m really enjoying at the moment.

I've always tried to experience all types of design; branding, print, photography, type development etc. and I am always on the lookout for new areas to sink my teeth into, whether it be a newfound love of baking, painting, crafts, or motion. My brain never switches off.

I relish the hands-on challenge of imaginatively and strategically solving problems. My strengths lie in creating brands and campaigns, building visual identities, and producing digital materials for social, onsite, and email. I like to work using an integrated approach, resulting in powerful experiences which resonate with their audiences.

So, if you’re adventurous and courageous -

Let's collaborate.

April 2023 - Present

Lead Designer /
Art Director

Byte / DEPT

I worked between Feed/DEPT for 6 months before moving over to Byte/DEPT full-time.

During this time I worked heavily on the eBay social account; creating guidelines, FIGMA templates, setting up the team with training and essentials, and working alongside their brand ambassador to produce extensive guidelines to go along with the update of their brand.

I was tasked with leading and overseeing work for a wide range of clients such as eBay (and their partnerships), Just Eat, Twitch, and Spotify. I was heavily involved with running campaigns from the get-go, developing project identities, and presenting pitch work to clients.

Dec 2022 - April 2023

Senior Designer

Feed

Senior 2021 - 2022

Mid 2019 - 2021

Junior 2017 - 2019

I started my professional agency career with Feed. Over the past 6 years, I have gained experience working alongside an evergrowing team and client base. Some of my most frequent clients were Betsson, Nectar, eBay and Ancestry. I worked with a worldwide internal team but with a focus on UK and NA audiences. The workload consisted of mostly onsite and email design along with partnership branding/re-branding and presenting the above, both internally, and to clients.

After moving to a Mid design role, I lead a variety range of projects whilst also managing, training, and mentoring my own small team, developing my managerial skills, with my responsibilities growing more by the year.

Design Intern

Marvellous - Leeds

2015 - 2016

During my final year at University, I decided that I wanted a taste of the real design world.

I spent a month as an in-house designer, shadowing projects and learning about processes, collaboration and clients. I also took it upon myself to aid with the rebrand of the company.

Recently re-branding to Marvellous, they wanted to push their branding and create something fun and tactile. I produced a typeface based on their 'M' logo.

Marvellous tends to generate any product photography in-house, and were very active on social media, sending and receiving gifts from clients. I saw an opportunity to create branded backdrops, gift wrap and stickers to seal. All way very well received by the brand and owner of the company., based in Leeds.

"I contacted Taylor as I was looking for an independent rather than major design company to help create my new business logos. Taylor grasped my brief/ideas immediately and understood exactly what I was looking for. The final product is perfect and she has done a fantastic job in a short space of time. Her eye for detail and ability to listen to what I wanted and be able to execute it first time won't be forgotten.
If I need further work doing then I will be calling Taylor."
